I
would like to dedicate this page to all the breeders and pet owners out there that have lost a kitten or an adult kitty. Only
we know the time, pain and anguish you experience a long with all the joys of raising these sweet precious babies.
Below is one of my favorite poems
dedicated to all the breeders out there and to anyone that knows the joys of truly loving an animal and what it is like
to have them love you whether it is a cat, dog, bird ect.......
......
I Love My Little Kitty I love
my little kitty; she makes my house a home. She always is my best friend, I never feel alone. She makes me smile,
she makes me laugh, She fills my heart with love&joy. Did some breeder breed her, or did she fall down from above?
I have never been a breeder, seen life through their eyes I hold my little kitty and just sit and criticize. I
have never known their anguish; I have never felt their pain. The caring of their charges, through snow or wind or rain.
I have never sat the whole night through, Waiting for babies to be born, The stress and trepidation when they
are still not there by dawn. I have never felt the heartache, of little life in my hands. This darling little baby,
who weighs but 60 grams. Should you do that instead of this or this instead of that? Alone you fight and hope one
day, he will grow to be a cat. He will bring joy to another being, and make a house a home. You know it is all just
up to you; you will fight this fight alone. Formula, bottles, heating pads, you have got to get this right, Two hourly
feedings for this tiny little guy, Throughout the day and night. In your heart you know, you are almost sure to lose
the fight; To save this little baby, but God willing you just might! Day one, he is in there fighting, you say a silent
prayer. Day two & three, he's doing well, with lots of love and care. Day four & five he is still alive, your
hopes soar to the heavens, Day six he slips away again, dies in your hands day seven. You take this little angel and
bury him alone With an aching heart and burning tears and an exhausted groan. You ask yourself, Why do this? Why suffer
all this pain?; But see the joy your kittens bring and it really self explains. So, when you think of breeders, and
label them with greed. Think about what they endure to fill anothers need. When you buy a kitten and with your dollars
part, You only pay with money, we pay with our heart.

Don Slyvio Dante of BreezyBrook

Sylvio was a gorgeous Silver Tabby
Persian. Our Sylvie crossed the rainbow bridge on July 30, 2006. He was only a year and half. The loss to our family and cattery
was devastating. It has taken almost a year for me to be able to put a tribute to him on my site.
Sylvie we love you
and miss you and we find comfort in the fact that somewhere up in heaven you are keeping someone happy, while you wait to
see us again.
